Get Started

To help us process your VA education benefits as quickly as possible, submit all required documents through the VMA Certification Portal. Incomplete or incorrect submissions may delay processing.

Required Forms

Before logging in to the portal, review the available document types below to determine which one applies to you. Each document type includes the forms required for that student category. For example, if you are a returning student, all required returning student forms are included in the All Students document.

You will need your academic advisor’s name and email address in order to submit information via the portal.

New Students

All documents required for new students are available in portal, except for the Certificate of Eligibility (COE). The COE is proof that the student is eligible for VA Benefits. To receive a COE, apply for your VA education benefits.

If your COE has not yet been issued, you may submit confirmation that you applied for VA education benefits as a temporary placeholder for one semester.

All Students

If you are a new or returning student, including a graduate or distance student, use the All Students option in the portal to submit your Advising Worksheet and a copy of your Concise Schedule.

Veterans must also submit a copy of their DD Form 214 (DD214).

Change of Major

If your major changed after submitting an Advising Worksheet, submit a new Advising Worksheet using the Change of Major option in the portal.

Add/Drop

If you add or drop a class after submitting an Advising Worksheet, submit a new Advising Worksheet using the Add/Drop option in the portal. Your worksheet must be signed by your advisor and include a copy of your Concise Schedule.
