The Alabama National Guard Education Assistance Program (ANGEAP) offers valuable financial support for eligible Guard members pursuing higher education at Alabama’s public colleges and universities. Designed to supplement existing benefits like the GI Bill and Federal Tuition Assistance, ANGEAP helps reduce the cost of tuition and fees—making your academic and career goals more affordable. Learn how to apply and maximize your military education benefits through The University of Alabama’s Office of Veteran & Military Affairs.
Funding
Those students in the Alabama National Guard may be eligible for a stipend each semester. The Office of Veteran & Military Affairs encourages all Alabama National Guard Members to fill out an ANGEAP each semester and turn it into 3000 Houser Hall. Please note the ANGEAP form must signed with Military CAC (ID Card) or handwritten. Military CAC readers can be accessed in the computer lab in 3000 Houser Hall.
